The Forbidden Glove

The Forbidden Glove
The Forbidden Glove

1 August 1746.

The Dress Act of 1746 was part of the Act of Proscription, which made the wearing of “the Highland Dress,” including a kilt or tartan, illegal in Scotland.

But since it is no longer 1746 (unless you have fallen through the stones recently), may we suggest that you wear all the tartan you possibly can in order to make up for those dark, dark tartanless years.

Warm, cozy fleece makes these fingerless gloves perfect for a walk through the highlands.

Size: M (see sizing chart)
